a THRIFTED temple was founded by Alex Ruffin, an artist and designer from Stamford, Connecticut. His lifelong passion for art reignited in 2015, evolving from sketching in notepads to painting on canvases, and eventually transforming clothing into wearable pieces of art from 2016 to 2022. In 2023, Alex introduced his acclaimed “Hometown Hero” series—an innovative fusion of sports culture and artistry that has captured attention worldwide. His work has been featured on ABC News, New York Post, Good Day NY w/ FOX 5 News and seen on Jazz Chisholm Jr, Jalen Brunson, SZA, Westside Gunn, Big Sean and more.
